Here at Jillian's Playhouse, we take great pride in the quality of our team.
Our teachers are chosen not only for their education and experience but also for their personal qualities of warmth and compassion.
We make sure that all team members are well trained and up to all standards required by the law.
Jillian Jackson
Founder, Owner, and Administrator
Jillian D. Jackson was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska and has been an operating a home-based childcare facility for years. She is licensed and certified and is still taking classes to ensure that she is staying current with all educational and childcare needs for her business and for her clients.
Jillian volunteers for Big Brother, Big Sisters, Alaska Youth and Parent Foundation, a non-profit for runaway and homeless teens and she is a member of the NAACP where she participated and earned a first-place trophy in Dramatics for ACT-SO. ACT-SO stands for Academic, Cultural, Technological, Science Olympics and is a division of the NAACP.
In the future, Jillian wants her love for developing children to help her expand and operate a special-needs childcare development center.
